After working at Montana State University, Rachel now works for the Missouri River Conservation Districts. She oversees 15 districts in the Missouri River Corridor in Montana.
Her research interests are livestock grazing as an ecological tool to improve rangelands, the influence of nutritional and physiological status on the inclusion of poisonous, invasive plants in the diet of livestock, and sheep grazing as a potential control for sulfur cinquefoil.
