Joe Walter received his Bachelor and Master of Sciences degrees from the University of Florida in 1970 and 1971, respectively. He has worked as the production manager for a million bird integrated poultry operation and feed mill. Joe is currently the owner and operator of a small family poultry and cow-calf operation in Florida, where he is involved in the production of eggs, heritage chickens, cattle and hay. Joe is also currently an Agricultural Extension Agent in Brevard County, Florida. He has held educational programs, for youth and/or adults, in the management of beef cattle, horses, small ruminants, poultry and swine.
