Dr. Mark Risse, PE is director of the Marine Extension Service and the Georgia Power Professor of water resources at the University of Georgia.  His expertise lies in the areas of non-point source pollution management, soil and water conservation, stormwater management and erosion control, and animal waste and nutrient management. He is on the leadership team for the National Livestock and Poultry Environmental Learning Center and has worked in Extension for more than 20 years.  Mark and his family live on a small beef cattle farm in Watkinsville Georgia.
