Dr. Eric Wiseman is associate professor of urban forestry in the Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.  He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in urban forestry and arboriculture.  His research focuses on urban forest ecophysiology, applied arboriculture, and urban forest inventory and analysis.  Eric is active in urban forestry outreach and continuing education at the state, regional, and national level, assisting resource professionals with their science and technology needs.  He is also a coordinator of the Virginia Big Tree program.  More information on Eric's work can be found on his faculty profile.
