Glenn Pape is a Regional Land Policy Educator for  MSU Extension. Immediately prior to becoming a Land Policy Educator Glenn was a Program Coordinator for Michigan Citizen Planner and worked as the Land Use Educator for Livingston County MSU Extension. His research and teaching focus is on land use consumption patterns and the economic benefits of placemaking. Glenn started his career in community planning and development by working as a subdivision development specialist in San Diego during the 1980's and has been working off the bad karma ever since. He has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Economics from Central Michigan University (CMU), and graduate work at CMU with a research focus on non-market valuation methodologies of natural resource amenities.  Glenn is currently pursuing a doctorate in urban design and real estate development.
