Joanne Kinsey

Joanne Kinsey focuses on work related to food and nutrition, healthy lifestyle, and workplace wellness. She is a member of the Family and Community Health Sciences Department at Rutgers University. She integrates current technology into the work of reaching broad communities via Extension using a variety of social media tools. Joanne has presented numerous workshop sessions at several national, state, and local conferences. She has also published several articles related to the use of social media in Extension.

She developed the Get Moving Get Healthy New Jersey Workforce Program, which delivers weekly healthy lifestyle informational messages to employers and their employees. In 2013, Joanne co-developed Working Well in NJ, New Jersey's Worksite Wellness Toolkit. Her current work assists in the dissemination and integration of the toolkit in the NJ workforce.

Joanne enjoys developing brief informational step-by-step cooking videos for consumers and finding new ways to reach audiences. She is a member of the Families, Food and Fitness Community of Practice, and on the leadership team for the Family and Child Well-Being Learning Network.
