Katherine Baildon is the Assistant to the Director of the Healthy Food Choices in Schools Community of Practice (CoP).

Katie joined Cornell in February 2013 to assist the CoP Director Sandra Cuellar-Healey in getting this CoP off the ground and now available. Her activities include handling communications with CoP members, coordinating the content development process, developing and uploading content, and setting up the CoP page. Additionally, now that the CoP is live, Katie will also manage the CoP’s Ask an Expert feature and the Social Media Outlets.

Prior to joining the Cornell community, Katie was Assistant to the Operations Manager and Marketing Director at King Ferry Winery where she managed all social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest). She also wrote for the winery blog and coordinated the King Ferry Farmers’ Market held at the winery. Katie also wrote free-lance for the Finger Lakes Wine Gazette and does free-lance social media consulting.

Katie received her BA in English from Alfred University in 2012.
