Nathaniel L. Tablante, DVM, MPVM, MS, Diplomate ACPV

Nathaniel Tablante has been a poultry veterinarian for almost 25 years. He specializes in poultry health management, epidemiology, biosecurity, and emergency preparedness and response. In addition to his D.V.M. degree which he received from the University of the Philippines, Nathaniel completed a Master of Preventive Veterinary Medicine at the University of California-Davis and a Master of Science at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.  He is also a Diplomate of the American College of Poultry Veterinarians.  As an Extension Poultry Veterinarian at the University of Maryland, he educates poultry producers on how to prevent poultry diseases and conducts research on risk factors associated with various poultry diseases of economic and public health importance.
