Second Life: Basic Skills for New Users

Second Life is sometimes characterized as having a "steep learning curve." Certainly, the virtual world is complex, but this need not prevent you from giving it a try. Begin as an explorer, which requires only basic skills. Later, as you acquire more advanced skills, you can become a mentor, community leader, teacher, or content developer.
