What types of nutrients do blueberries contain?

Blueberries contain the nutrients: calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium, zinc, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B-6, folate, as well as vitamins A and E. In addition, blueberries also contain many non-nutritive compounds called anthocyanins that are important for health. Anthocyanins prevent and delay chronic disease development such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
