How do you control the small green worm that is feeding on my Double Knockout roses?

Gardens & Landscapes October 25, 2011 Print Friendly and PDF

The "green worms" may be rose sawflies.   For photographs of the pest and control optiions, see: Rose and Pear Slugs (Sawflies).   Note that some of the pesticides recommended in the publication are no longer on the market: i.e., Orthene™ (acephate). You should contact your local county Cooperative Extension office for a current, up-to-date pesticide recommendation.
