How long does it take for Kentucky bluegrass seed to germinate?

Gardens & Landscapes January 07, 2008 Print Friendly and PDF
Kentucky bluegrass is relatively slow to germinate, requiring 10 to 21 days before you can expect to see young seedlings emerge. This time period will be extended if temperatures are cold and the soil is not kept sufficiently moist during this critical period.
